Aimee Hospodarsky is an elementary school counselor in Monticello, Iowa.  Her experience as a school counselor has included work at the middle school level as well as both urban and rural areas. She served on the ISCA Board for 10 years, completing her term in July 2021.  Aimee is the School Counselor Lead in her district, as well as the coordinator of the District Social Emotional Learning Team. She has also represented school counselors in various state level groups.  Along with her K-12 School Counseling Team in Monticello, she is a proud recipient of the ISCA District of Distinction Award, which recognizes exemplary K-12 school counseling programs.  Aimee was also the 2021 Iowa School Counselor of the Year.  Aimee sees school counselors as a critical factor in the junction of students’ academic, career, and social-emotional success.
