Learn how Restorative Practices aligns with PBIS/MTSS: restorative school climate; discipline, re-entry and restorative healing. Restorative practices are interwoven into every interaction in the building; and allow the act (unacceptable behavior) to be rejected because they failed to meet expectations or standards while acknowledging the intrinsic worth of the person and their potential contribution to society. Objectives: Describe the rationale behind restorative practices and how they differ from traditional practices (Why) Understand and demonstrate a continuum of restorative practices (What) Understand how RP fits within a healthy MTSS and aligns with other culture and climate work (How)
