Create authentic and equitable partnerships by and between adults and students to address health needs in your school or community. Presenters, including a 4-H Healthy Living Teen Ambassador, will provide practical strategies based on evidence-based practices for addressing social, emotional and physical health that impact overall well-being. Attendees will assess their own wellness competencies and utilize their awareness for healthy habits to set goals for their personal growth. This awareness will help create authentic connections with your youth partners and help support their efforts as they identify and advocate for SEBH improvements in their school or community. As a strong community partner in Iowa, learn about the numerous opportunities available to schools and youth through Iowa University Extension and Outreach and the 4-H Youth Development program.
