Health Education Network-Liberia, Inc
Executive Director
Paynesville, Liberia
I'm a professional educator with over 10 years experience teaching the children and young people of Liberia. I served as Secretary and Health Club Coordinator at Immaculate Conception Catholic School for 5 + years and as Health Club Coordinator and Agriculture Science Teacher for 3 years at Change Agent Network. Throughout my career experience in Liberia I noticed one common problem in all the schools I worked with and visited. That's the deplorable Sanitation and Hygiene conditions under which the pupils are learning. Efforts were made to mitigate the situation in the 5 schools I worked with. However, this problem remains visible across Liberia. This prompted me to resigned from my position with the Catholic Education Secretariat to establish an organisation that caters to the Hygiene and Sanitation needs of pupils in Liberia. In October 2018, I founded Health Education Network-Liberia, Inc and got registered as a Local NGO. In February 2020, the organisation got accredited by the Ministry of Education in Liberia and obtained its Business Certificate. To date, we are proudly working with 30 schools with absolutely no donor support. I would like to be talked to on Health Education within the domain of Education.
