Adrienne Golden
Adrienne K. Golden, Ph.D., BCBA, is a Research Associate at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. She currently coordinates two large multi-year research studies, one to support implementation and sustainability of the Pyramid Model in PreK and Kindergarten classrooms in school districts across the country and one focused on Program-Wide implementation of the Pyramid Model in childcare settings. Previously, she was a doctoral student working with Dr. Hemmeter, with a focus on researching sustainable methods for providing Practice-Based Coaching to support Pyramid Model implementation in early childhood settings. Prior to entering the doctoral program, Adrienne worked as an inclusive early childhood teacher in the Sumner County, TN school district as well as at the Susan Gray School, an inclusive childcare center and lab school for the Special Education department at Peabody College at Vanderbilt University. In addition, she has been a coach, trainer, material developer, and researcher around the Pyramid Model. Adrienne is also a trainer for the Connect4Learning (C4L) curriculum through Kaplan and the Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool (TPOT) through Brookes. Adrienne is originally from Massachusetts and studied early childhood education at Boston University. Throughout her career, Adrienne has created and conducted workshops and trainings across the country and has presented at numerous state and national conferences.
