Alyssa Fruchtenicht is a Licensed Independent Social Worker at Black Hawk-Grundy Mental Health Center. After graduating from Buena Vista University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Alyssa went on to obtain a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Northern Iowa. She started her career at Black Hawk-Grundy Mental Health Center as a school-based mental health therapist, moved to coordinator of the school-based therapy program, and is currently Manager of Behavioral Health. In addition to overseeing the implementation of mental health therapy in outpatient community-based and school-based locations, Alyssa continues to provide school-based therapy with adolescents and their families. Alyssa and her teams implement evidence-based practice to address a wide range of mental health concerns.
